Red Bull has officially announced the development of a fully self-designed motocross bike in collaboration with German superstar Ken Roczen marking a new chapter in competitive motocross engineering. The bike, named the “Roczen 1,”is expected to make its debut in the 2026 season and will be the first production model fully branded and engineered under Red Bull’s direct influence.

Sources within Red Bull Racing confirm that the project has been in the works for over a year, with Ken Roczen playing a lead role not only as the face of the brand but also as a key test rider and technical advisor. The Roczen 1 is being built with cutting-edge materials, a revolutionary suspension system, and a custom Red Bull electronics package designed specifically for elite motocross conditions.

“This is not just a sticker deal. I’ve been working hands-on with the Red Bull engineering team to create something totally new,” Roczen said in a recent interview. “It’s about building a machine that reflects how I ride — powerful, precise, and race-ready out of the box.”

The Roczen 1 will not only serve as Ken Roczen’s competition bike in select AMA Supercross and MXGP events, but Red Bull has hinted that limited production versions may be released to the public, creating high anticipation among motocross fans and collectors.

Industry insiders are already speculating whether this move will eventually lead Red Bull into a full-fledged manufacturer role, potentially disrupting long-standing giants like Honda, KTM, and Yamaha. With Ken Roczen at the center and a debut just around the corner, the “Roczen 1” could become one of the most revolutionary developments in modern motocross history.
