ATP Prize Money Leaders Updated: Medvedev, Auger-Aliassime, and Ruud Rise After Title Wins

The ATP Prize Money Leaders list has been refreshed for another week, bringing some notable movement among the top players as several stars were in action while others opted to compete at the exhibition-style Six Kings Slam. Daniil Medvedev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Casper Ruud were the headline earners, each celebrating title victories and boosting their financial tallies for the 2025 season.

Medvedev Claims Almaty Open Title

Daniil Medvedev captured the Almaty Open title, an ATP 250 event, after a hard-fought 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 victory over France’s Corentin Moutet. The Russian, who continues his impressive late-season form, pocketed valuable prize money to move his total from $2.51 million to $2.69 million. Currently ranked 15th on the ATP Prize Money list, Medvedev now shifts his focus to the Vienna Open, where he looks to further climb the standings.

Auger-Aliassime Triumphs in Brussels

Felix Auger-Aliassime secured a much-needed title at the European Open in Brussels, defeating Jiri Lehecka 7-6, 6-7, 6-2 in a tight final. The victory lifted the Canadian’s total earnings from $3.31 million to $3.45 million, pushing him past Jack Draper, who sits at $3.42 million but will not play again this season. Auger-Aliassime’s strong finish could see him break into the top 10 of the prize money rankings in the coming weeks.

Lehecka, despite falling short in the final, also benefited financially. The Czech star moved from $2.48 million to $2.58 million, placing him 17th just behind Medvedev.

Ruud Rises After Stockholm Victory

Norwegian star Casper Ruud added another title to his name after winning in Stockholm, boosting his total earnings from $3.02 million to $3.17 million. The win helped him close in on the top 10, and with Draper and Holger Rune both sidelined, Ruud could climb further as the season winds down.

Rune’s Injury Opens the Door

In unfortunate news, Holger Rune suffered a devastating Achilles injury during the Stockholm Open, ruling him out for up to 12 months. Currently 12th on the prize money list, Rune’s absence is expected to allow several players, including Ruud and Auger-Aliassime, to overtake him in the coming weeks.

With the 2025 ATP season nearing its close, the prize money standings are shaping up for an exciting finish. Players like Medvedev and Auger-Aliassime are finding late-season momentum, while others face the challenge of defending their rankings amid injuries and schedule breaks.
