Bad one : Julen Lopetegui make a foolish statement…

The Morocco international is proven at the very highest level, and he possesses all of the skills needed to succeed in the Premier Legaue.

En-Nesyri will be out of contract with Sevilla in 2025, so unless the La Liga side tie him down to a new contract, this summer will be the last chance they have to get a fee for him.

With Lopetegui so keen to sign a new centre-forward this summer, it’s easy to see why the Spaniard would be eyeing up a move for the Morocco international hitman.

I personally think he’d fit into Lopetegui’s system at West Ham perfectly.

However, it seems like we might have to wait a while yet before we see the Sevilla star in a Hammers shirt…

Youssef En-Nesyri wants West Ham, Lopetegui has another priority

So the good news is that the Sevilla man is keen to join the Hammers this summer. He’s absolutely perfect for us, so that’s an exciting claim.

However, the bad news is that Lopetegui could be set to prioritise another transfer.

Give Me Sport claim that West Ham want to sign En-Nesyri, and the Moroccan is keen to move to the London Stadium.

The former Leganes hitman has absolutely everything needed to be a very big success in the Premier League.

He’s strong in the air, is always willing to run the channels to help create space for his teammates and is a very good finisher.

The Sevilla man possesses impressive pace and has everything needed to successfully spearhead the Hammers attack next season.

En-Nesyri is available for just £21 million as well – an absolute steal in this day and age.

However, it is suggested that Lopetegui may have to put a move to sign his former player on the back-burner for now.

That’s because the Spaniard is keen to bring in some proper competition and cover for Edson Alvarez, after he suffered a hamstring injury when playing for Mexico in the early hours of Sunday morning.

However, it must be said that the latest news regarding the Alvarez hamstring blow is that the injury isn’t thought to be a serious one.

I don’t really understand why Lopetegui can’t go all out to bring Youssef En-Nesyri to West Ham as well as some defensiv

e midfield cover at the same time.
