The Spaniard has been an ambassador for the French fashion house since last year.
Carlos Alcaraz’s stock as a style icon is only rising. After stripping down last year for Calvin Klein’s latest underwear campaign, the world No.2 was recently photographed as a face of Louis Vuitton’s 2024 men’s spring and summer collection.
The wide-ranging shoot by Jorge Ortiz Perez sees the Spaniard sporting several pieces from the collection, including a long-sleeved silk pajama shirt and pants, a cotton overshirt, and a silk-wool mix cropped dandy jacket from the Damier line, as well as a striking red leather varsity jacket.
The Spaniard also accessorized with a Speedy P9 bandouliere 50 messenger bag, which has recently been revisited by Louis Vuitton’s new men’s creative director, the record producer and singer Pharrell Williams. The spring-summer 2024 collection represents Williams’ inaugural collection in the role, one that was also modeled by NBA star LeBron James.
Alcaraz also signed on as a face of the menswear line for Louis Vuitton last summer, and debuted his first photoshoot for the French fashion house shortly after. Earlier this year, the brand designed him a custom trunk, and replica versions were made available by the maison for purchase at a retail price of $164,000. Damier, meanwhile, is one of the earliest hallmarks of the brand, dating back to 1888.
