Fabio Quartararo has openly addressed the ongoing criticism surrounding his performance and Yamaha’s struggles in the 2025 MotoGP season. The French rider has expressed frustration over Yamaha’s constant experimentation with different bike setups each race weekend, which he feels hinders his ability to establish a consistent base and focus on racing. He remarked, “Just before the sprint we were trying way too many things, [going from] one bike to another and I was going to qualifying without any reference… I was completely lost” .
Despite these challenges, Quartararo remains committed to Yamaha, citing the team’s loyalty and recent investments in engineering and aerodynamics as key factors in his decision to stay. He acknowledged that in September 2023, he seriously considered switching brands but ultimately chose to continue with Yamaha due to their efforts to enhance competitiveness .
