Netflix has announced the upcoming release of a multi-part documentary series on the legendary British heavy metal band, Iron Maiden, set to premiere on **September 20, 2025**. The series promises to take fans on an epic journey through the band’s 50-year legacy, from their formation in East London in the mid-1970s to their rise as global metal icons.

 

Titled *”Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast”*, the documentary will feature exclusive interviews with band members, behind-the-scenes tour footage, rare archival material, and commentary from fellow musicians, producers, and lifelong fans.

 

Produced in collaboration with the band and longtime manager Rod Smallwood, the series will also delve into Iron Maiden’s influence on music, culture, and their pioneering role in the evolution of live performances and album art.

 

Fans can expect an in-depth look at albums like *The Number of the Beast*, *Powerslave*, and *Brave New World*, with previously unreleased footage from their world tours.
