Tennis legend Stefanie ‘Steffi’ Graf has been appointed as the Ayurveda brand ambassador of Kerala on Wednesday, June 24. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said “A decision in this regard was taken by the cabinet on Wednesday. The proposal had come from the state Tourism Department and a formal agreement on this would be reached with Steffi Graf soon.” The reason behind choosing Graf as the ambassador is to promote and facilitate Ayurveda, which is an ancient system of traditional health care and natural remedies plus it will also attract foreign tourists due to the mass popularity of the celebrity.
