Everton: Braiden Graham named as young gem from

Everton-linked star Braiden Graham has been labelled a young gem from the “next generation” amid recent Goodison Park transfer speculation, by the Mail on Sunday.

The newspaper named the teenager in its print edition on Sunday (31 March, page 88) alongside the likes of Callum Marshall, Ross McCausland, George Feeney and Ceadrach O’Neill as one of Northern Ireland’s bright young talents

Reports have suggested that behind-the-scenes plans at Goodison Park have put the Toffees in an excellent position to secure Graham’s signature from Linfield ahead of a number of Scottish clubs [TEAMtalk, 28 November].

Discussing the striker, the Mail on Sunday wrote: “Graham has already played for the Northern Ireland youth team and has been linked with Everton. A centre forward, he currently played for NIFL Premiership side Linfield.”

Will Everton confirm Braiden Graham’s transfer to Goodison Park?

Graham has been linked with a move to Goodison Park for a while now as the Toffees look to strengthen their academy ranks and begin planning for the future with a number of strong young options in Sean Dyche’s squad.

The 16-year-old has already played youth team football for Northern Ireland and has impressed for Linfield in the Northern Irish Football League. While he won’t be ready to immediately play first-team football, he is quite clearly a promising talent.

For him to be placed alongside the likes of McCausland who has been excellent for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership this season and Marshall who has been a regular name on the West Ham bench in recent memory speaks volumes.

Graham is obviously recognised as an incredibly promising player in Northern Ireland and it would be excellent if Everton do bring him to Goodison. Although nothing is yet set in stone, there is no smoke without fire.

Hopefully, nothing has changed in the deal and it will still get over the line sooner rather than later as it would be an incredibly sensible bit of transfer busin

ess from the Toffees.
