The director of the Women’s Tour de France shared some secrets about Julian Alaphilippe and Nino with Paris Match last May : “He always takes pictures of him with his teddy bear before leaving so he can have him with him everywhere. He needs him. The emotions he shares with his son allow him to fight at the right time. This birth has made him stronger too!” There’s no doubt that the rider who will be starting the Vuelta this Friday, August 19, has taken a photo with him. After missing the Tour de France following a big crash in Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the French world champion will take his revenge in the Spanish Tour, where he is among the favorites.
