Taylor Swift Concert Promoter Reveals Bold Choice Singer Made When Pricing Eras Tour Tickets
As Swifties around the world know, tickets for the Eras Tour haven’t exactly been cheap—but it turns out Taylor Swift actually went to great lengths to make her concerts more affordable.
In an interview with HITS Daily Double, Jay Marciano, Chairman and CEO of AEG Presents (the promotion company for the Eras Tour) revealed that Swift refused to use the dynamic pricing model—which raises prices based on demand—popular with many artists today.

“There are a number of things Taylor did that other artists wouldn’t contemplate doing,” Marciano said. “One is, she had an opportunity to dynamically price her tickets, and she didn’t want to do that to her fans. She specifically said, ‘No dynamic pricing.’ She was willing to make decisions that potentially cut into her income because she was taking a long-term view of her career.”

On X, Swift’s fans praised the “Fortnight” songstress for her “ethical” approach.
“She’s able to make the highest grossing tour of all time by not using strategies such as dynamic pricing.. goddess,” wrote one fan.
“Love her for that ! she genuinely loves her fans and cares for them, some people of her status won’t acknowledge their fans unless it’s for a cash grab and it’s sad,” agreed a second person.
“Taylor isn’t just one of the greatest singers ever, but time and time again proves that she’s one of the greatest business minds of all time too. And does ethical business like above,” gushed someone else.
However, some felt Swift could have done even more.
“Love Taylor but she could have also made it so you can only sell them for face value after buying like other artists and didn’t, which allowed rampant scalping. Yeah it didn’t benefit her directly but it attributed to a lot of chaos,” another X user pointed out.
