Legendary Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is one of the finest players India has ever produced. He had a long career in the game and added many feathers to his illustrious cap. He is an inspiration to many players including those who are playing for the team now. This is the legacy he had created.
Fast bowler Varun Aaron who also played a few games for India recently announced his retirement from red-ball cricket. Days after the retirement announcement Varun Aaraon recalled an incident with Sachin Tendulkar and how Sachin calmed him down.
Varun Aaron was part of the Indian team in 2011 for the West Indies series. Despite bowling 21 overs he could not take a wicket and was sad with this. Sachin saw this and asked him what happened and Varun Aaron told him he went wicketless despite bowling 21 overs.
Sachin told him that success needs time and gave his example. He said that he had waited 22 years to get the World Cup and asked him if he could not wait 21 overs. This small talk helped him and he took two wickets next. His debut match became memorable with a c
ouple of wickets.
