Son Heung-min breaks Tottenham’s dressing room silence after Ange Postecoglou’s savage rant about the club
Son Heung-min has broken the Tottenham squad’s silence following Ange Postecoglou’s furious rant.
Spurs manager Postecoglou was furious after his side were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City on Tuesday, ending slim hopes of finishing in the top four and playing in the Champions League next season.
The result means City will pip Spurs’ north London rivals Arsenal to the Premier League title if they beat West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Some Spurs fans felt conflicted about the match, as they knew victory would put Arsenal on the brink of winning a first title since 2004.
Some celebrated when City’s Erling Haaland scored and were ejected from the stadium, while Postecolgou got into a slanging match with another fan who was asking him to lose the game.
After the match, the Australian manager claimed that the build-up to the game showed him that the foundations at his club were more ‘fragile’ than he thought.
Tottenham’s stars remained quiet on the issue, but now captain Son Heung-min has spoken out in an exclusive interview with the Evening Standard.

“We should understand it’s the gaffer’s first year and he brought so much positivity and different football,” Son said.
“I know it’s early to say, but we’ve got to do so much better for next season, because I still believe he can bring so much success to the club.
“I’m all in. I’m loving the way he wants to play. It’s the first time I’ve experienced it.
