Journalist Patrick Ridge has labelled Sean Dyche as “horrendous” after Everton were beaten once again by Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
The Toffees suffered a 2-1 defeat at the Vitality Stadium after a Dominic Solanke header in the second half was cancelled out by Beto in the second half before a late Seamus Coleman own goal, making it 12 games without a win in the top flight.
And reacting after the opening goal went in, Ridge took to his personal Twitter account (30 March) and claimed the ex-Burnley boss simply “has no idea how to win games” anymore.
“Can cry hard done by all you want,” he said. “This manager is horrendous.
“The players aren’t good, but he’s a limited, limited manager who, as it stands, has no idea how to win games.”
Everton must stop with the excuses and start winning
Everton have no doubt been on the wrong end of some horrific decisions this season, and they could easily have had a penalty in this game for a foul on Dominic Calvert-Lewin while the goal that went in could easily have been disallowed for a foul in the build-up.
But at some point you have to stop with all of that as it’s uncontrollable, and start focusing on doing what you can control and that’s scoring the chances you create.
Sean Dyche continues to pick Calvert-Lewin despite him now going 23 games without a goal, while Beto was on the bench after scoring just two games ago and then managed one after comi
ng off the bench.
