So much talent. So much hair! And so much drama at the net, even if it is 40-odd years after the fact.
As if still occupying opposite sides of the court, the subjects of “Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe” aren’t interviewed together during this installment of the PBS series “Gods of Tennis.” They reflect individually on their legendary rivalry. And it maintains the spell: In singles tennis, after all, the professional player is always alone, never mind the increasingly boorish thousands who surround him.
