Indiana Fever head coach Christie Sides made what will likely be her final statement on the controversy surrounding Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter’s foul on Caitlin Clark, speaking on Sunday afternoon after finally getting the chance to watch a full clip of the WNBA incident.
“I didn’t even see it until after the press conference last night,” Sides told reporters before her team faced the New York Liberty. “Just was a situation where no one really saw it happen.
“This league is awesome. It’s physical. We get after it. But that was a non-basketball play. It needed to be called. It was a one-point game. It could’ve changed the game a little.”
