Coleman Ready To Make Call On Everton Future
By Everton
“Along with the manager, we said we would get these [last] couple of games out of the way and that was the focus – finishing the season as strong as possible playing-wise,” said Coleman on his future.
“I have missed a few games so that has been my focus. Now will be time to sit down and talk about it, but I absolutely love this football club as everybody knows.
“It means so much to me and it’s been my life, my family’s life – it’s a special football club. But we will see in the next couple of weeks.”
Despite the trials and tribulations of the 2023/24 campaign, it still proved a season of real progress for Sean Dyche’s squad.
They finished up having won 12 points more than they did in the campaign prior and would have finished up in 12th – level with Crystal Palace in 10th – had it not been for the points deduction handed down by a Premier League commission for two separate breaches of profit and sustainabili
ty rules.
