NFL NEWS: Crystal Palace is in the lead to recruit Chelsea’s outcast in the summer.

Crystal Palace is in the lead to recruit Chelsea’s outcast in the summer.

Jake Clarke-Salter of Queens Park Rangers is allegedly very interested in joining Crystal Palace during the summer transfer season.

Football Insider reports that Crystal Palace would compete in a four-way fight with teams like Burnley, Bournemouth, and Celtic to sign former Chelsea academy talent Jake Clarke-Salter.

Whether Crystal Palace is able to sign the 26-year-old central defender, who has shown excellent play for Queens Park Rangers in the EFL Championship, would be interesting to watch.

The Eagles will need to sign more defensive players at the end of the season, especially if Marc Guehi chooses to quit the team.

There are rumors that the England international will be departing Crystal Palace at the end of the current campaign.

His performances for the London club have made him a target for a number of elite English sides this summer.

It might turn out that Clark-Salter was a smart addition. He will be excited to make a name for himself in the Premier League as he is used to playing football in England.

The opportunity to work at Crystal Palace will entice him, and he’ll want to get started as soon as possible and make an impact.
