Bills kicker Tyler Bass blames himself for loss to Chiefs, but Josh Allen feels otherwise
Allen was spotted placing his arm around Bass as they walked into the tunnel
put in that situation,” Allen said. “You win as a team, you lose as a team. One play doesn’t define a game, it doesn’t define a season.
“People are gonna be out there saying that, we’ve gotta be there for him. We execute a couple plays prior…probably singing a different tune right now.”
Tyler Bass had the yips entering the game vs. Chiefs
Bass missed a couple of field goals against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card clash, but was fortunate the opponent’s offense couldn’t move the chains until way too late.
The pair of misses from last week clearly carried over to this weekend and now he is beating himself up that his team couldn’t even force overtime thanks to the crunchtime miss.
Bass admitted that the snap and hold were good, but he tried to kick straight up the middle instead of to the left for the wind to carry it right to the center. Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens next.
