The Frenchman registered 10 goals and six assists in just 19 Premier League games, so it comes as no surprise to see clubs like Chelsea and United interested in his services.
The only downside to Olise’s game is his injury proneness, but neither team appear to be overly bothered.
However, given Chelsea’s struggles with injuries in recent seasons, this should be a cause for concern for Enzo Maresca’s side.
And, that is not the only thing that should put the Blues off signing the 22-year-old.
Why Chelsea should give up on Michael Olise pursuit
Olise plays best as a ‘number 10’ or on the right wing, but Chelsea already have a plethora of options in those areas.
Cole Palmer, who shares the same positions as Olise, simply has to have a place in Maresca’s side next season.

Should Palmer play in the centre, the Blues have Noni Madueke, Raheem Sterling and Omari Hutchinson who can play on the right.
And, if the Englishman plays out wide, Carney Chukwuemeka and Christopher Nkunku can play through the middle.
Not to mention, Chelsea have already agreed to sign Ecuadorian wonderkid Kendry Paez, and Brazilian talent Estevao could also be on his way next summer.
The Blues should be targeting a striker or a left-winger if they want to strengthen their attack, and Ol
ise does not suit either role.
