Bowers’ draft prospects are overshadowed by the TE value debate.

During his three seasons with the Bulldogs, former Georgia tight end Brock Bowers caught 175 receptions for 2,538 yards in 40 games and scored 31 touchdowns in all, five of which came from running, as Georgia tried everything in its power to get the ball into Bowers’ hands.

The task of assessing Brock Bowers as a player is not too difficult.

As demonstrated throughout his three seasons at Georgia, Bowers is a dynamic receiver who is more than capable of blocking passes and has the ability to generate separation, make contested receptions, and create big plays after the catch.

Bowers is regarded as one of the top 10 players for the NFL draft that takes place next week, but his draft position is much less assured because he plays tight end, a position with lower premium.

Although some teams in the top 10 could be prepared to spend a premium on a tight end, there’s a good chance Bowers is passed over in the first round as teams give priority to high-value positions like cornerback, wide receiver, quarterback, and pass rusher. According to BetMGM Sportsbook, Bowers is presently favored to be selected outside of the top 10.
