The 7/10 star of Crystal Palace is now becoming as unstoppable as Eze in the league.

Crystal Palace’s return to Premier League football this week hasn’t been fair to the team or pleasurable for its supporters.

Despite taking just one point from two games that his team could have won against Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, new manager Oliver Glasner has his club eight points clear of 18th-place Luton Town, so there’s no need to panic.

Though the past two months will have given him an indication of the players that have a future at Selhurst Park, with Eberechi Eze high on that list, the Austrian hasn’t had enough time to establish his offensive style of play with the team.

He has put on some amazing displays, like the January match against Sheffield United in which he scored two goals. But the Greenwich native’s momentum has been somewhat hampered by the fact that he has only recently returned from a more than month-long injury layoff.

Despite this, the former Queens Park Rangers star has still had a very successful season. In just 24 games, he has scored six goals and provided four assists, meaning that he is now averaging a goal involvement every 2.4 games, a considerable improvement over his previous season average of 2.8 games.
